Leonard Nimoy – Smoking-Related Illness

Leonardo Nimoy famously played the role of Mr. Spock in Star Trek.  He had a smoking addiction of sorts for the most of his life. At one point, it became so aggravated that he developed a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Despite a long spell of treatment, Nimoy could not beat it and passed away in February 2015.
