Documentary-maker and activist Michael Moore is used to commanding attention in a room. The filmmaker has taken on opponents from George W. Bush to the pharmaceutical industry. But in 2010, Moore turned the fight on his own massive frame when he checked into a luxury weight loss spa in Miami. The liberal agitator paid $4,500 per week for the facility, where he lost 70 pounds by sticking to a diet of heavy and filling but low-calorie foods.
