Paul Gleason –  Pleural Mesothelioma

Paul Gleason left many among his audience spellbound with the film The Breakfast Club, where he played the role of Principal Richard Vernon. Gleason contracted an extremely rare lung cancer called pleural mesothelioma. It was caused by an unrestrained exposure to asbestos while he was a teen. Despite receiving treatment, Gleason passed away in May 2006, at the age of 67.
