Robert Redford started earning money in his bank account through acting during the ’60s. Since then, he has achieved even greater success, especially after he founded the Sundance Film Festival. But before he had even reached any of his major successes, he had already met Lola Van Wagenen. She later came to a decision of leaving university so she could marry him. The couple had a wedding in 1958 and later had three children together. They were supposed to have four children but their first child died of infant death syndrome when he was only less than three months old.
